Piggy
Stayed 4 days in Kyoto while there was a big earthquake somewhere...walked 4 days, from one temple to another--I have never seen a city like this, which is made by temples, every bus line has at least one destination to some temple...but those are really amazing temples, like different beautiful pictures putting together...
Happened to meet the big festival called 祀园祭 there, got my kimono, ate along the street as my favorite "street culture", and saw the parade...
Slept only 4 or 5 hours each day, and walked almost 12 hours every day, so tired, but nice food, nice festival, nice temples, nice walking...it's worthing...:)...
Traditional japanese culture is in the air everywhere in Kyoto...lol

VIII-Shibuya Night/Roppongi/Akihabara/Asakusa
Rabbit arrived on the 12th, since he hasn't arrived until 6 p.m, I thought he's got lost, but I met him in the street...OMG!!!
We went to Shibuya the night of 12th and ate the Japanese hot pot and FUGU (the famous poisoned fish), then visited again the temple at Asakusa, the electronic street at Akihabara and ate at Roppongi for dinner--his first ramen in his life:)
Rabbit seems so excited seeing so many cute Japanese girls and looked for girls to take photo with the whole time he's in Japan...*^^*!

VII-Shinjuku & Shibuya
One day off from school, I went to Shinjuku this morning...Shinjuku Gyoen National Garden(新宿御苑) is right by the subway station, so I went there first, 200 JPY admission fee:)
It is formely the property of the Imperial Family, is now one of Tokyo's largest and most popular parks for strolling or admiring the flowering shrubs and foliage. A huge park, and nobody there since it was raining~I don't know if anyone else will be as romamtic as me who walking in the rain in the garden by myself...lol...but it is really a nice place, with garden and forest~ i only visited part of it (mostly Japanese Traditional Gardent and 母の子森林), and it was already more than 1 hour passed...
Then went to some temples and shrine I met on my way, and walked around Kabukicho (歌舞伎貯) and Shinjuku's Skyscraper area with a cluster of ultra-modern high-rise buildings from 25-55 stories in height--hotels, mall, official buildings etc...
Kept walking, didn't know where as usual, and I arrived Shibuya--God, guess how far I walked...my feet were done!--I was looking for the famous statue of Hachiko (ハチコ) Dog everywhere, but it was right by the subway station...too small, and was hidden:P... Looked at the buildings in Shibuya, where Simon said was "Tokyo Time Square", I thought it liked more JieFangBei (the center city of ChongQing...lol)...Except everything is in Japanese~^o^!
OK...Pause for my feet tomorrow, whole day of class, and exam, which I know nothing so far...continue my trip on Friday, with Rabbit:)
Gotta work now... ...

No class in the morning, so I took the time to visit Ueno Park, it is a quite big area--walked the whole morning, my feet hurt now:( but it was good~
I went to lots of shrine and temple, and put a wish board in almost each of them with different wishes~The one in Shinobazu Pond was the first one I put, since I thought that was a very romantic and nice place, so I wrote a board said that even if we cannot stay together forever, I still wish that after 5 years, the same day, he would be here with me...however, right after I hung that board, it began to rain!!!!--What the hell is that? Even the heaven don't want me to think about him any more?...and even more weird is the last board I put in the shrine where was good for love wishes, i wrote, alright, let him stay in the past, and wish me find another one who really loves me, cares about me, and understand me, but at the same time I still wish that he would be happy...After I hung this, it stopped raining and the sun came out...I don't know what to say, it might be some coincidence, but it looks like a sign for me, and I know, I should never think about him any more...
Alright, anyway, pretty nice trip, I'll continue tomorrow in Shibuya...lol

After the Asian Culture Club, I went to the shrine called "汤岛天神灶", wrote my first wish board and hung there:) It seems to be a very good place to pray for study and work, almost all the wish boards there are about exam or work, so I put one for myself too~Make a wish that I will be able to join the graduate program of M&A in Wells Fargo next year~and also I bought 2 cute little wish pockets, one for study, and one for work...Yeah!

Had a little tour around 不忍池 after the shrine, looks like a pretty and romantic place, but it was too dark at night, and my camera was out of battery, so I'll go back tomorrow morning, and upload the picture later...Ja Mata~!
IV-Asian Pacific Culture Club
Went to the Asian Pacific Culture Club this afternoon. It was a small japanese house a bit out of center Tokyo...
3 Hours, we have experienced the Japanese pray, cither play, わふく for girls:), calligraphy, and Japanese tea ceremony...We four girls were became "super star" with our わふく~So priceless, hahaha, and served those guys tea in a very traditional Japanese way--that was those men's dream~

III-Got lost on the way
Followed the girls who came to pick up and walk us to the school yesterday, we tried to find the way walking to school today, since it seemed not to be that complicated, I really didn't think that we would have a problem getting there. Left the hotel about 7:10 a.m., and thought we would be there before 8 a.m.,however we got there at 9 a.m--walked for 2 hours!!!!! And if we haven't met Rodney and Subash, I would never get to school unless I took a cab:(
It was really funny, standing there, so lost...so I took the pictures along the way back today after class. There's not that much intesesting things between our hotel and the school, but I keep those pictures as a guide, so that I would not get lost again~ :)

| From Hotel to School |
Took a nap back to the hotel, and went out for dinner with Ryan, Toshi, Garrett and Claudia--thought to go to a look-nice noodle place, but there were too many people there, and we were all too hungry to wait for one more hour, so we just randomly picked up a shitty restaurant around~the food was good, but not that great, so don't need any special description here, hehe...
Then we went to the bar at the 40th floor of "Grand Prince Hotel" for a drink. Very awesome view of the whole Tokyo, but very expensive too--900 JPY per person just to sit down, drinks are around 1850 JPY--Well, we are in Tokyo, should enjoy!:) Took some pictures around, yet since my camera was out of battery, we used Claudia's--it always takes her forever to do things, and she never remembers anything: forgot her cable for transfering the picture in the States, and nobody in our class has a SONY computer to read the memory card--my computer read all the cards except SONY's, so the photo will not be available until we buy a cable to download the photo, hopefully she will not loose her camera before we get the cable...lol

II--Tokyo Tour
Akasaka(赤坂) - Meiji Shrine (明治神殿)- Tokyo Tower - Asakusa Kannon Temple(浅草観音寺)/Nakamise Shopping Arcade
1. Meiji Shrine (明治神殿)
This is Japan's most famous Shinto shrine dedicated to the Emperor Meiji and his consort. Our first destination. Quite a big one, and different from Asakusa Temple, this one is very Japanese.

2. Tokyo Tower
Said it's Tokyo Eiffel, 330 meters high in total (taller than Effeil Tower?). We went to the 150 meter main observatory first, looks pretty good, but the weather was not too nice today, or we may be able to see Fuji Mountain:( However, we did enjoy a panoramic view of Tokyo...
Some time left still, so we went up to the 250 meter "special observatory", but quite disappointed because it is still an inside observatory and seems that there is a construction there, so they put something outside, and we could hardly see outside~555555~~~
I still prefer the real Eiffel Tower tho^o^!

3. Asakusa Kannon Temple(浅草観音寺)/Nakamise Shopping Arcade
Asakusa Temple was our last destination for the first-day bus tour. It is the oldest and most popular Buddhist temple in Tokyo. Like most of the temple in China, but this is more Japanese style...Japanese culture is everywhere in the air...we can feel from anything...lol...Also there's a colorful shopping arcade leading to the Asakusa Kannon temple, lined with tiny food and souvenir shops. Really cute, and really crowed too...

OK, done with the tour...went to a noodle place in the main street of Akasaka for dinner--cheap and nice~! So cool! I'm in Tokyo!!!!!!! Yeah!!!!!
I--First Arrival
The plane took off at 12:20 p.m. in JFK, New York, and Piggy began her trip to Tokyo...Still could not believe that she would be in Japan in 13 hours, Piggy was excited, but a little bit worried too--knew nothing there, didn't know what she was gonna do when she arrived there with her 2 huge suicases (you may say that's what this piggy always did, and she's tough enough to survive anywhere...Yeah, that's true, but the problem is she doesn't know this language!!), didn't know how to get the place she should go...but well, on verra!...lol
July 2nd, 2007 (Narita Airport -- Akasaka -- Shinjuku)
After 13 hours tough flight, the Piggy arrived safely at Tokyo Narita Airport (东京成田机场) at 2:46 p.m. Tokyo time:) It was quite easily passed at the custom, but when Piggy got out of the custom, she was a bit lost...Looked at those familiar but strange characters everywhere, heard that strange but familiar languages, she didn't know what she should do--where to change the money? Where to take the bus? Where the bus will take her too?...
When she figured out anything, and bought the bus tickey for 30000 JPY, she took the bus #6 at 3:30 p.m. to go to Akasaka(赤坂), where she's gonna stay for this whole month. It was a long way from Narita to Tokyo, almost 1 hour 30 min in the bus--people drive on the left in Japan...hehe, good to know:)--then taxi, and at last she found the hotel and set up...everything's good, except she was so exhausted~!
Showed, felt better, gotta eat...Piggy was hungry!!! Toshi came--he's so cute, we all miss him so much--so 16 people when out for dinner together~We went to Shinjuku (新宿), it is so cute, just like a Tokyo Version Time Square~with a lots of restaurants...but we didn't went to the ones showed up on the main street, instead, we went to a crappy narrow forking road, with lots of small restaurant with barbecues, just like in China~!Cool! At last we picked up a restaurant called 十三夜, it was good~!We had fish, whale, horse...hahaha...
Some people went to the bar after dinner, but i was too tired to go out, so just took the subway back--great! I can take the metro by myself the first I arrived there, hehe~

Piggy's America VIII-Suburb Philly, PA
King of Prussia
Went to Bankers for Interview, but I had no map from the bus station to the company, when I got off the bus, everything looks the same everywhere--just normal road, no clue where to go, luckily there was a Radisson Hotel there, I crashed in it, and saved my life, cooool...however, it was still confusing getting there~ I asked another guying walking on the road, he directed me to an opposite direction, but clever piggy made a wise decision--not listen to him:)...and called directly the company to ask for the direction...haha...at last got there...
It was still a season for the cherry tree, so cute...
Paoli-Exton
Because of the open house session of AFS, I took the train+bus for almost 2 hours to Exton...Got off the train at Paoli Station, and take the bus to Exton--that was a cute little town, nice houses and building, however I could not take any pictures on the bus...:P
The appointment was at 6 p.m, I arrive about 3:30 p.m, and went directly to the Exton Square Mall--of course I was not about to go shopping, but to have a look and get some food, hehe~ Then walked to the Whiteland Business Garden, where AFS located. The session was pretty good, I thought they would give us a long presentation, and that's all, but the presentation was only 10 min, and the rest of time I talked with 5 hiring managers: Derek, Tom, Carol, Stacy and Don, that was nice, especially Tom and Carol~Carol gave me a nice folder too--special gift for special piggy, hahaha~
It was already 8 P.M when I left AFS, can't believe that I stayed such a long time there:) and before living Whiteland, before leaving Exton, I did one more thing--Found a nice place and buried the candy box from Grenoble, which was with me all the time for 6 months, along with all my memory of Tophe...I don't know how long that box with stay there, maybe one day in the near future, someone's gonna take it out--maybe he/she will keep it, maybe send it to him, maybe throw it...however, anyway, it's not a thing i can still care, because I will forget, as I promised him, and disappear from his life thence...
Last year, June 21st, Fete de Musique in France, a day that he promised to come back, I walked in the city for more than 5 hours, saw everyone I knew in Dijon, except him...This year, the same day, June 21st, 8:13 p.m, in Exton, I buried the whole story, but at least, I don't need to wait for anyone...and this, is the last thing I will do for him...

Piggy en Europe V-EuroDisney, Paris, France

Piggy en Europe IV-Fontainebleau, Ile-de-France, France
The first I went to Fontainebleau was the January of 2004. Because of some bad things happened at that time, I felt not so good, and really wanted to disappear for some time, so I went to Fontainebleau with Charlotte, and since then I fell in love with this cute little town.
We arrived in the Fontainbleau Avon Station, and found the bus to go downtown, however we didn't know where the Chateaux is, so I asked a cute guy sitting behind us on the bus. He was a really nice guy, explained us how to get there, and said that he would tell us where to get off. Got off at the station of the Chateaux, I turned back, and waved my hand to say "Bye" to him while walking, but I didn't see the tree in front of me, and nearly crashed on to the tree:p--Stupid me~hehe...
Maybe because of the cold weather, or it was not holidays, there were not many people there, very quite, and was really a nice place to relax. We nearly forgot the cold outside, and spent long time outside in the garden--Such a romantic place, I really wanted to go with my love, but at last I haven't realized this dream, however, I had some magic RENCONTRE there~:)
We tried to go to INSEAD, which is at the end of the bus line, and saw another cute boy on the bus~He sit opposite to us, on my right, the first time I saw him, I was shocked--he's not that "handsome", but perfectly my type:), never had such kind of feelings when I first saw someone, and I really could not moved my eyes from, even if I knew that he knew I was starring him, I just couldn't help. He got off in downtown, I really wanted to get off with him, even though I didn't know what I was gonna do if I did so. However, I couldn't leave Diane alone on the bus to follow that guy, she will definitely kill me, hehe, so I stayed on the bus. Surprisingly, he turned back when he passed by our window, I can still remember those eyes when he looked at me--if I was by myself at that time, I know I would surely get off the bus. Kind of magic~I did regretted for a quite long time after that until I saw him again after 1 year and a half...
I went to INSEAD for an interview of the MBA application in March 2006, after questioned by a mean professor, I went to the train station to go to Paris for another interview at ENPC. Magically I saw him again at the station, and even more magically he recognized me and began to talk to me--seems that I did gave him an unforgetable impression starring at him last time:) So naturally, we became friend, we went to Paris, and walked around a little bit...And I really began to believe that there's really miracle in this world...lol
A random oppotunity, I met up with some people in INSEAD, and spent almost 2 months there, which we called "United Nation", since students there are from 77 different countries--a really international community--classes were interesting, and that might be the time I worked most in France, and I got a lot of new friends there~
The experiences in Fontainbleau, and at INSEAD are really awesome. I love there, not only because it's a beautiful town, but also because of all the friends I made, the happy days I spent, and the magic things happened there ...I called it " The Miracle of Fontainbleau"...

Piggy en Europe I--Dijon, France

Piggy's Wonderland I--Hershey Park, PA, USA
Philadelphia, PA - Hershey Park, Hershey, PA: 95.7 MilesHershey Highway (Video is available HERE)
June 9, 2007 in the morning, we left Philadelphia for our beloved Hershey Park through the "Hershey Highway"--it is a normal highway between Philadelphia and Hershey, but since there's another "special" meaning in America, we were making fun of it on the road:)
Since the "special meaning" of "Hershey Highway" include high-level porn component, we don't give the specific explaination here, but Mango's "bloddy beautiful" was a vivid adjective for this expression...
Parking Spot-69...
After 2-hour's driving, we arrived the parking of Hershey Park, and find the best spot--#69!~Not sure if someone had been "back in" though...lolChocalate World
Here is the factory of Hershey Chocolate, however since I'm really not a fan of chocalate I don't really know how that taste like, it is cute though, Piggy likes cute stuff~ The building of "Chocalate Factory Tour" looks like the Oompa Loompa Land in the film, but we didn't went in it, the roller coasters attracted me much more than chocalate...lol

Comet was the first ride I took, kind of like the wooden one in Parc Asterix, always simply goes up and down, I don't like it too much, and it made me had a headache after that...so trip's gotta continue...SooperDooperLooper (Video is HERE)
This SooperDooperLooper is pretty small, only once upside-down, very basic ride...Great Bear
Great Bear is my favorite ride in this park, very well done, and many times upside-down...not the most violent one, but the most interesting one...exciting, and comfortable.
Maybe I like it also because this was kind of the same ride as the one, whoich made really passionate in amusement park. Think of 2 years ago, I was scaring going to those kind of rides, and now seems that I've already forgotten what is called "scare", just go directly to all the rides, no matter how brutal it looks like and now even learning taking videos on them--but just a beginner for this, I need more practice~That will be awesome!
Side Winder

Went to this one right after lunch was definately NOT a good idea! This goes forward and backward with couple of upside-down moments ride nearly take out of all the food I just ate...:P But it's a fun ride, if not go right after eating:)
Lighting Racer (Video is HERE and HERE)

This is another my favorite ride in the park, 2 rides left together and competiting like Gemini:) Also a wooden roller coast but much better compared to Comet and Wildcat...Highly recommended=)!
Wild Mouse (Video is HERE)

This is a very classic ride I took since I was 5 years old, but it has been really a long time that I haven't ride it, and I really forgot that it hurts arms!--Or more possibly that I'm getting FAT and BIG...Yuk!=P! Anyway, a nice memory of childhood...Good!
Storm Runer (Video is HERE)
This is the most brutal ride in the park, I read about it before, that one was in Cedar Point in Ohio, and that one was highter, maybe more intense...The train accelates to a very high speed--which can support it to the top of the curve with inertia--in a very short time at the beginning. It slows down on the top, and accelarates again while it goes down and then continue turning like a dragon until the end...It should be called "red dragon", but...*#&$^%@(...^o^!
Coal Cracker (Video is HERE)
Another classic park ride since early ages, but nearly the only water ride we can take in this park since we didn't plan to be completely wet and "visible"...lol
Other Water Park Rides:
1. Roller Soaker (Video is HERE)
We planned to take this one, and already got wet while waiting, however there was a long line there, so have to give up since we'd already been in the park for long time...But it is an interesting ride to make both ourselves and others wet, awesome!~
2. Tidal Force (Video is HERE)
This is a brutal one, no wonder that no matter people on it, or leaving it, or even just watching it will get wet...
The Claw (Video is HERE and HERE)
My favorite ride at the "Fete Foraine" in Dijon every year~I took the video on this ride, and seems from the video that was the end of the world since the earth was turning crazily...and can see the "Red Dragon" from the video too:) I put "the Whole new world" as the background music just for laughing~Enjoy!
Bumper Car (Video is HERE)
Ok, here is our last ride, again, childhood ride...See, we are still young!~
So...here we are, 10 hours in the amusement park, ride so many ride--even twice for couple of
them, the world began to turn...Oh, forget to mention that Piggy saw a cute boy in the park~It was so magic that we saw him everywhere, haha~"Stolen" some photos, but this crazy Piggy was so obvious that she was taking the photo, that guy definitely knew it, and was so cooperative, so cute!...hahah~~~!!!!^o^~~~!!!
Anywasy, I had lots of fun--think everyone did~Time to leave, Bye~My beloved dreamland!~!
